Headed out this morning to scout some old haunts for possible inclusions in this year’s routes.
Most were ok but some weren’t so good….
Plenty of debris on this one from lack of maintenance and the wild weather over the last few days.
Caught some magic views from the top of the touges along with some lingering rain.
Fuji was out most of the day despite the threatening skies.
Thought we’d struck gold when we found an itty bitty Santa at the top of this one. Only a little gold as the road was a ripper but littered with sharp rubber ripping stone shards making it a slow going exercise of ‘dodge the puncture!’
Had to get creative to get outa that one 😀
That one was a touge too far…
Plenty of bikes out and about with a great days riding. Ended up being a loooong half day…
Probably would have been home earlier on this 😉
Let the scouting continue!
